Our AI layer sits on top of every service we provide, and it is connected to real-time data and content rather than trained on text alone. Most market platforms make you learn where everything lives: menus, tabs, chart pickers, filter panels. GammaLab is built the other way round. There is a prompt, you type what you want in plain English, and the platform works out which of its own datasets answers it.
Connected to live data
A general chatbot answers from what it read during training, plus whatever it can gather from an ordinary internet search. For market data that could mean a financial number which is not up to the minute, delivered with total confidence. This is not good for traders that live in a fast-paced environment.
GammaLab's reasoning system is wired directly into the platform's own live databases. When you ask about dealer gamma, it queries the actual option chain the platform collected that session. When you ask what happened to a stock this morning, it reads the real news feed and price history with a 1-minute resolution.
Our model is a way of reaching the data, not a separate thing sitting beside it. Every figure it quotes came out of the same pipeline that draws the charts, which is why the two never disagree with each other.
Examples of what you can ask it
- Chart requests: "show me SPX gamma by strike for this Friday" builds the chart, rather than telling you which menu to open.
- Data questions: which names had unusual dark pool volume, what sectors or single stocks are moving the market right now, where a level sits today against where it sat last week.
- News questions: what moved a ticker, how is economic data impacting the market, what came out overnight in a sector.
- Context and explanation: what a reading means and how to interpret it.
- And a good deal more. The list above is a sample, not a menu. There is no fixed set of supported questions, which is rather the point of our system.
What sits underneath the answers
The reasoning layer reads the same datasets the rest of the platform is built on and is able to cross-reference them: the news stream, option chains, flow data, price data, whale and dark pool trades.
Built to be checkable
Answers point at the underlying chart or feed item wherever one exists, so you can look at the data yourself rather than taking a paragraph on trust. The AI layer sits on top of real data, with no guessing in between.
It does not replace the dashboard
Asking suits fast, exploratory work: chase an idea, get an answer, move on. Panels suit watching several things at once over a session. Both are here, over the same data, and you can move between them whenever you like. If you prefer the traditional view, see the dashboard layout.
